Jamie Mitchell and Chuck Patterson join the WPA

May 12, 2010, Dana Point, CA – The World Paddle Association (WPA) is proud to announce its’ partnership with Elite Paddlers Jamie Mitchell and Chuck Patterson.  Mitchell, the reigning Paddleboard World Champion and winner of the 2009 Battle of the Paddle (BOTP) and Patterson will serve as ambassadors for the growing global organization.

 Chuck and Jamie will provide a voice for the WPA while traveling the world participating in professional events.  ”We are proud to have the two best ambassadors in the sport supporting our answer to every paddler’s needs,” said the WPA’s Scott Sanchez.  ”Chuck and Jamie bring together so many aspects of the sport with their background to help promote all aspects of paddle sports, Surfing, racing and big wave riding.”

 “It’s an honor to be a part of an association like the WPA that strives to help provide resources for all paddlers and events to run more efficiently and promoting the growth of SUP worldwide by bringing together the industry, event organizers and athletes,” stated Chuck Patterson.
